“This recognition will not be possible without the concerted efforts of all our education frontliners who continuously and unceasingly contributed to the successful implementation of the Basic Education - Learning Continuity Plan,” DepEd said in a statement issued Thursday, Nov. 25.

DepEd welcomed this recognition based on the latest Philippine Trust Index (PTI) 2021 research conducted by the EON group.

The said Index measured the public's trust level for multi-tiered organizations amid the pandemic.

The research revealed that DepEd received a “91 percent trust rating --- the highest among all agencies in the government. “While we are faced with the daunting challenges of the pandemic on a daily basis, public trust is the quintessential backbone which we depend on to ensure that all our programs are truly relevant and impactful to the lives of every Filipino,” DepEd said.

Given this recent recognition, DepEd reiterated its commitment “continue with our mission to create relevant policies, interventions, and initiatives that will further improve basic education services for all our learners” together with the support of its partners and stakeholders.
