San Juan opens booster shot registration to health care workers, senior citizens, persons with comorbidities


The San Juan City local government opened on Monday, Nov. 22, the registration for booster COVID-19 shots to health care workers, senior citizens, and persons with comorbidities.

The Department of Health (DOH) announced on Sunday, Nov. 21, that fully vaccinated senior citizens and immunocompromised individuals are now eligible to receive their COVID-19 booster shots.

In an advisory, San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora said that those belonging to the A1 (health care workers), A2 (senior citizens), and A3 (persons with comorbidities) categories who have received their second dose six months ago and those vaccinated with Janssen vaccines three months ago may now register in the following link: http://bit.ly/39Bi7ri or scan the QR code found on his official Facebook page.

The local government unit (LGU) started on Wednesday, Nov. 17 the administration of COVID-19 booster shots on its healthcare workers.

Zamora said around 1,200 healthcare workers are qualified for the booster shots in San Juan City.
