Around 120 houses were burned during a fire that broke out in a residential area on G. Araneta Avenue corner Sto. Domingo Avenue in Barangay Manresa, Quezon City on Monday, Nov. 22.
The Bureau of Fire Protection(BFP) Public Information Office said the blaze was raised to first alarm at around 1:12 p.m.
Chief Inspector Jessie James Samaniego, chief of the Quezon City Fire Department (QCFD) administrative branch, declared the fire under control at 2:02 p.m.
The fire was extinguished at around 2:30 p.m.
The blaze, which damaged around P150,000 worth of property, affected around 330 families, the BFP said.
A man sustained minor injuries and was given immediate medical attention.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of fire that reportedly started on the second floor of a residential building.
