Wi Ha Jun and Lee Dong Wook team up in ‘Bad and Crazy’

In an insane society, is there room for the bad and the crazy?

Lee Dong Wook, who we’ve seen in "Tale of the Nine Tailed" and in "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God," is pairing up with "Squid Game’s" very own Wi Ha Jun for an upcoming Korean series called "Bad and Crazy."

"Bad and Crazy" weaves together action, dark comedy, suspense, and crime as the duo pursues vengeance in a quite insane society. Ryu Su Yeol in the drama (played by Dong Wook) is a bad cop trying to recover his humanity after meeting a crazy K (played by Ha Jun). K happens to be a righteous person, with a hard kick of crazy. The two fight against police corruption and the show is set to depict the dark side of the police force in Korea. Hee Gyeom (played by Han Ji Eun) is a police lieutenant in the drug squad of Mooui Police Department, and we’re also set to see how she mixes up the leading duo, knowing that she once was a part of Su Yeol’s romantic life.

The teams behind the famous "The Uncanny Counter" and "Seobok" will be in charge of this multimillion-won production in collaboration with Singapore-based OTT Content Platform, iQiyi. The storyline was written by Kim Sae Bom, and the 12-episode show is directed by Yoo Seon Dong.

Wi Ha Jun gained international fame in his performance in "Squid Game." Will he be able to win the fans hearts again through this action series? There’s only one way to find out. Catch him and Lee Dong Wook in "Bad and Crazy," set to premiere on the Dec. 17, 2021 with episodes simulcasted with Korea (tvN) every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m., Philippine Time.
