It is becoming more and more apparent that the track being taken by the country’s coronavirus disease (COVID-19) situation is for the better with the Department of Health (DOH) seeing the number of active cases dipping further to 6,000 by mid-December, while the rest of the Philippines is now under the Alert Level Scheme.

Metro Manila mayors were also urged to decide if unvaccinated children should be allowed to enter malls.

President Duterte is set to join the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)-China Special Summit, and all eyes could be on the Philippines, which recently figured in a territorial tangle with the Chinese in the Ayungin Shoal.

These are among the top stories this Sunday morning, November 21, 2021.
