Manila to hold Christmas tree lighting on eve of Nov. 22

The annual “Paskong Manileno” Christmas tree lighting event will be held on the eve of Monday, Nov. 22.

Paskong Manileno will be held at Kartilya ng Katipunan also known as Bonifacio Park in Ermita at 6 p.m.

Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and Vice Mayor Dr. Honey Lacuna will be present at the tree lighting ceremony.

Simultaneously, the tree lighting ceremonies will also be held in five other destinations in Manila, namely Rizal Monument, Intramuros, National Museum, Manila Post Office, and the Metropolitan Theater.

Last years tree lighting was similarly held at Kartilya ng Katupunan and was seen by Mayor and Manilenos alike as a symbol of hope for the future.
