TACLOBAN CITY – Volunteers and supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo joined the nationwide 'Programang Palugawone' in support of her presidential bid on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021.
"Taos puso naming inaalay ang programang ito ng walang hinihinging kapalit, walang bayad, at kami po ay kusang loob na sumama dahil hangad po namin ang tunay na pagbabago na kay VP Leni Robredo lamang matatagpuan," Rhian Corre Saliwan, one of the volunteers from Borongan, Eastern Samar shared.
'Special lugaw' was also served for residents of Dulag, Leyte in support of VP Leni and her runningmate, Senator Francis 'Kiko' Pangilinan.
Meanwhile, a motorcade was held in Laoang Northern Samar, followed by a Holy Mass at the St. Michael the Archangel Parish.
Vehicles were adorned with pink tarpaulins, ribbons, and balloons.
A 'Lugaw for Leni' activity was also launched at the Baybay Market Site and Roadside St. in the afternoon.
