Domagoso visited residents of Payatas, Quezon City on Saturday as part of his "Listening Tour".

"Tapos na ang panahon ng mga elitista. Basurero naman ngayon (The time of elitists is over. Now is the turn of garbage collectors)," he said.

"Hindi pwedeng ipagkaila, na puwedeng umangat ang mahirap. Ang nakalulungkot lang, tayong mga mahihirap ang hirap ding tanggapin sa lipunan ng mga elitista. (There is no denying, that the poor can rise. Sadly, we the poor also find it difficult to be accepted in the society of the elites)," he added.

Domagoso also promised the residents of Payatas that he will pursue the construction of more mass housing projects if he wins the upcoming elections.

“If I get lucky, the housing projects I did in Manila will be done throughout the whole country,” he added.

"Mahirap maging skwater, hindi mo alam kung pagbalik mo, nakatirik pa dahil yung lupa hindi iyo (It's hard to be a squatter, you don't know if you'll come back, your house is still there because the land isn't yours)," said Domagoso, who was once a scavenger before becoming an actor and entering politics.

Several mass housing projects were already built up in the City of Manila including the Basecommunity; Tondominium 1 and 2; Binondominium 1 and 2; and the Pedro Gil and San Sebastian Residences.

"Umasa kayo, sa loob ng anim na taon, uunahin kong iraos muna ang buhay ng tao," he said.

Domagoso earlier vowed he will offer what they have done in Manila that are duplicable and scalable if he wins.
