BOOK LOVER'S PARADISE The Manila International Book Fair from last Oct. 2019

The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), the biggest and longest running book fair in the country, returns for another online edition from Nov. 17 to 21 at www.mibfonline.com, right in time for the holiday season.

For those looking to complete their Christmas lists in the safety and convenience of their home, this November edition of the MIBF offers a wide selection of books, including academic books, bestsellers, children’s books and YA, textbooks and reference materials, comics and graphic novels, religious and inspirational reads, reference books, trade books, computers and electronic gadgets, school and office supplies, ebooks, electronics references, journals, learning management systems, educational multimedia and teaching aids, magazines, manipulatives, publishing aids, and many more. 

“While the pandemic has challenged us to reimagine the ways we can get books to the Filipino reading public, our commitment to make books accessible and available to Filipino readers remains the same,” says Irene Lloren, president of MIBF organizer Primetrade Asia, Inc. “The MIBF will keep on going as long as there is a Filipino reader in need of a book.”

Shoppers can browse through the best holiday deals and the latest releases, or search the entire catalog according to title, author or publisher. Shipping fees apply upon checkout, with various modes of payment available, including credit card, debit card, GrabPay, Dragon Pay, and mobile wallets AliPay, Cash-U, Coins.ph, WeChatPay and GCash. Expected delivery is within 7-10 working days upon checkout.

The MIBF had had over 160,000 visitors over the last three years. It has always stood firm through the economic downturns of the last four decades, quickly adapting to the changes in the industry. The MIBF is organized by Primetrade Asia, Inc. in partnership with the Book Development Association of the Philippines (BDAP), Philippine Booksellers Association, Inc. (PBAI), Asian Catholic Communicators, Inc. (ACCI), and the Overseas Publishers Representative Association of the Philippines (OPRAP).
