Tolentino condemns Chinese Coast Guard 'bullies'

Senator Francis ‘’Tol’’ Tolentino on Thursday, Nov. 18 joined the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in condemning the ‘’water-cannoning’’ by the Chinese Coast Guard of Philippine supply boats in Ayungin Shoal in the West Philippine Sea (WPS) last Tuesday.

‘’Bullying tactics have no place under international law,’’ Tolentino stressed.

‘’While engaging the international community is imperative it is also appropriate that we likewise beef up our "sanctuaries " in the area to help our vessels not just during natural calamities but also in non-friendly instances such as this latest incident,’’ he added.
