Tino, who previously played under the Omega Esports banner, will be playing the position 1 as he joins fellow Filipino Dota 2 stars Timothy “Tims” Randrup, Gabriel “skem” Ong and Erin Jasper “yopaj” Ferrer and Indonesian Saieful “fbz” Ilham.

“The BOOM Dota 2 lineup is complete and the stars align. We’re looking forward to the actions soon in DPC. We hope that Tino can get us the best result for this season,” said Boom Esports in its announcement.

Coming off a dominant run in the BTS Pro Series Southeast Asia Season 9, Boom is making a strong case for a return trip to the Division 1 after its previous roster got relegated to the Division 2 for this season.

The squad also tapped the services of former TNC coach Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung to further boost its chances of finally making it to The International next year.

However, they still have to finish overcome teams like Lilgun, Nigma Galaxy SEA, 496 gaming and Army Geniuses in the lower division hostilities which will start on Nov. 29.
