Marc Pingris joins MPL PH stars in latest M3 teaser


Philippine basketball great Marc Pingris joined the MPL Philippines' biggest names in the latest promotional video for the upcoming Mobile Legends: M3 World Championship which is set next month in Singapore.

The former national team cager joined Blacklist International’s Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario who will be donning the country’s colors in the crowning tournament of the Mobile Legends.

M2 World Champions Karl “Karltzy” Nepomuceno and Cj “Ribo” Ribo of Bren Esports and MSC titlist Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog of Omega Esports also starred in the video uploaded on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang YouTube channel, Thursday morning, Nov. 18.

Pingris, who has been known to be an avid MOBA 5v5 games and esports fan even during his heyday in the PBA, also joined 2021 Tokyo Olympian and skateboarding star Margielyn Didal in a series of promotional campaign for M3 here in the country. The two were the latest Filipino athletes to partner with Moonton which also had Philippine boxing pride Manny Pacquiao as its brand ambassador last year.

Philippines will have two representatives in the world meet in Blacklist and Onic Philippines.

Blacklist is drawn in Group A against M-series first timers Red Canids from MPL Brazil, Malvinas Gaming from Latin America Qualifiers and Bedel from the Turkey Qualifiers.

Onic meanwhile have Onic Indonesia, Todak from Malaysia and Vivo Keyd from Brazil in Group B.

Blacklist will start its campaign in the opening day in Dec. 6 while Onic PH will lock horns with its opponents in Day 2 on Dec. 7.
