"Maraming salamat po at na-appreciate n'yo po ‘yung aming small effort na maging mabuting pamahalaan sa mga namumuhunan upang sa ganoon ay magkaroon ng pagkakataon na makapaghanap-buhay ang ating mga kababayan (Thank you very much and you appreciate our small effort to become a good government to investors so that our countrymen will have the opportunity to earn a living)," Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso said.

The chief executive assured that the city government will continue in creating programs and projects that will benefit the business sector.

Among the city's projects supporting the business sector are Manila Support Local Campaign, the establishment of the Business One Stop Shop, and Go Manila App.

"Umasa po kayo na patuloy naming pagbubutihin na maging business friendly ang ating lungsod, ang kapitolyo ng bansa, ang Lungsod ng Maynila (You can hope that we will continue to make our city, the capital of the country, and the City of Manila business friendly)," Domagoso added.

"Sa maliit naming kaparaanan, pipilitin naming maging masinop, mainam, at episyente kayong paglingkuran (In our small way, we will strive to serve you neatly, well, and efficiently)," Domagoso said.

The award "recognizes local government units that have been successfully restoring and increasing the business operations in their area thru significant and sustained innovative actions, programs, and policies," the PCCI said.

Manila was also recently hailed as the most highly urbanized city in the country by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

In October, the city government also won three awards during the Digital Governance Awards 2021
