More PAL cities now in ‘Green List’

More Philippine Airlines (PAL) overseas destinations made it to the “Green List’ effective November 16 to 30, 2021.

Passengers traveling from countries in the Philippine Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF)'s Green List follow more relaxed quarantine protocols.

The Green List now includes Indonesia (Jakarta); Hong Kong SAR, China (Hong Kong); Mainland China; Japan (Tokyo Haneda, Tokyo Narita, Fukuoka, Osaka Kansai, Nagoya); Saudi Arabia (Dammam, Riyadh); Taiwan (Taipei) and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai).

Fully vaccinated Filipinos coming from Green List areas should present a negative RT-PCR test result taken within 72 hours prior to departure from the country of origin.

They will no longer be required to undergo a facility-based quarantine, but is highly encouraged to self-monitor for any symptoms until the 14th day after arrival.

Another option is for them to take an RT-PCR test upon arrival, and undergo a facility-based quarantine only until the release of a negative test result.

Fully vaccinated foreign nationals from Green List areas must present a negative RT-PCR test result within 72 hours prior to departure from the origin country.

They will no longer be required to undergo a facility-based quarantine, but is highly encouraged to self-monitor for any symptoms until the 14th day after arrival.

PAL continues to monitor updates on the easing of travel or entry requirements.

"We also look forward to being able to fly from cities in mainland China in the near future, subject to all the necessary government approvals," the flag carrier stated.
