The Las Pinas City government launched on Tuesday, Nov. 16, the “Diskwento Caravan” which offered basic goods to the public at discounted prices.
Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the “Diskwento Caravan” was held at Saint Joseph covered court in Barangay Pulanglupa Dos, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Aguilar said the caravan was participated in by Nestle Philippines, James Leathercarft, Frabelle Food Corporation, San Miguel (Magnolia Chicken), San Miguel (TJ Hotdog), and CDO Foodsphere.
She said the caravan was conducted from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The mayor reminded the city residents to bring their own eco-bags and strictly observe the basic health protocols when going to the site of the caravan.
