Pharmally Dargani's siblings nabbed in Davao airport

Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation executives Twinkle Dargani and her brother Mohit Dargani have been arrested.

The Office of the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA) reported that the two were arrested at the Davao International Airport in Davao City at aroudn 5 p.m. on Sunday. They were on board a chartered plane bound for Kuala Lumpur.

The two are now under Senate custody.

The Senate blue ribbon committee had issued an arrest order against the two and were cited in contempt after they failed to provide the necessary documents being asked by the panel.

The panel, chaired by Sen. Richard Gordon is looking into the Department of Budget and Management’s Procurement Service (DBM-PS) purchase of P8.6-billion worth of personal protective equipment (PPEs) from Pharmally which senators noted was undercapitalized.
