Nearly 50,000 minors vaccinated in Manila


Nearly 50,000 minors aged 12 to 17 have already received at least their first dose of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccine as of Saturday, Nov. 13.

A total of 49,276 minors from the A3 or comorbidity group and the general population have received at least their first dose.

Ten different sites have been used to facilitate Manila’s mass pediatric vaccination drive.

Among these sites are Manila district hospitals, namely Sta. Ana Hospital, Ospital ng Maynila, Gat Andres Bonifacio, Justice Jose Abad Santos, Ospital ng Sampaloc, and Ospital ng Tondo.

The other four vaccination sites are at the Lucky Chinatown Mall, SM Manila, SM San Lazaro, and Robinsons Place Manila.

Initial rollout of pediatric vaccination began on Oct. 22 while the mass vaccination started on Nov. 3.
