Group donates ambulance to Pasay City gov't


Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano thanked the Pitmaster Foundation for its ambulance donation to the city made on Nov. 10.

Rubiano said the ambulance is fully equipped with medical supplies and accessories.

She said the ambulance will be a big help to the city government’s health, rescue and emergency response against COVID-19 or any other disaster.

The mayor said the ambulance was personally turned over by Pitmaster Foundation Executive Director Atty. Caroline Cruz in a simple ceremony held at the Pasay City Hall grounds.

Rubiano also said the the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU) reported that COVID-19 cases in the city are now down to 53.

She said the city government recorded a total of 2,713 during the surge in August. She added that the house-to-house check system implemented by the city government and CESU helped in bringing down the number of cases.
