Mika Esperanza earned another title – this time, outside of volleyball.

The former De La Salle University setter revealed she is now a licensed doctor after passing the 2021 Physician Licensure Examination.

“Sorry di ko ma-crop pero doktor na ako,” said Esperanza, highlighting her name on a list of passers she posted on her Twitter account.

“Thank you for all those who prayed and helped me get where I am today. Thank you Lord.”

Prior to taking a career path in Medicine, Esperanza played for the Lady Spikers and was part of the crew that won the UAAP Season 78 title.

She competed alongside Ara Galang and Mika Reyes, to name a few.

She also played in the Philippine Superliga before focusing on her Medical degree, where she graduated last year at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay (UERM).
