Ex-VP Binay jumps from rank 17 to 6-7 in new SWS senatorial survey

Former Vice President and senatorial aspirant Jejomar Binay continues to rise in the ranks of preferred "senatoriables" in the recent national survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS).

Binay ranked 6-7 in the survey conducted by SWS for the month of October, a huge jump from rank 17 during the same survey conducted by the agency last September.

Binay shared the spot with Former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar. Both senatoriables received 40 percent of the votes.

Binay filed his Certificate of Candidacy on Thursday under the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA), and is running under Senate President Tito Sotto III and Senator Panfilo Lacson’s ticket, who are running for vice president and president, respectively.
