PLM top performing school in October Physician Licensure Exam


The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) emerged as the top-performing school in the October Physician Licensure Examination, posting a 98.6 percent passing rate, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Thursday, Nov. 11.

Meanwhile, the University of the Philippines (UP) Manila and Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (ASMPH) posted 96.30 percent and 96 percent passing rates, respectively.

PRC also announced that 1,677 out of 2,302 passed the licensure exam given by the Board of Medicine in Manila and Tuguegarao.

Ian Gabriel Alparaque Juyad of UP Manila topped PLE with a rating of 87.50 percent.

Two UP Manila students, Jian Kenzo Ong Leal and Geremiah Edison Daniel Cosia Llanes, meanwhile, vied for the second spot, exhibiting 87.42 passing rates.

Completing the top then and their respective ratings are:
