Pasay Mayor Emi Calixto Rubiano thanked the city department heads and employees for their hard work amid the COVID-19 pandemic as they resumed the regular flag-raising ceremony at the City Hall on Monday, Nov. 8
To recall, the city government conducted virtual flag-raising rites in the past months to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
However, on Monday, the regular flag-raising activity was held, giving the mayor a chance to physically thank the employees for their help and accomplishments.
Rubiano said the City Hall department officials and employees played a bigger role in giving better services to the residents.
She was happy to note the city has brought down the number of COVID-19 active cases to 55 with zero death, based on the record of the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU).
