Lacson seeks fellow Caviteños' support anew for upcoming presidential elections

CARMONA, Cavite – Senator Panfilo Lacson is seeking his fellow Caviteños' support anew for the 2022 presidential elections.

The presidential aspirant visited Carmona and his hometown, Imus City, on Friday (Nov. 5), along with Partido Reporma president and Davao del Norte Rep. Pantaleon Alvarez and senatorial candidates Raffy Tulfo and Paolo Capino.

Lacson thanked Cavite voters for their support for him over the past elections.

"Mapa-senador, maski ‘yung takbo noong 2004 sa pagiging pangulo laban kay Gng. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo at FPJ, ako pa rin po ang tinangkilik niyo at ginawa niyong number one sa ating lalawigan. Hinding hindi ko ‘yan makakalimutan (When I ran for senator and even when I ran for president in 2004 against Mrs. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and FPJ, you supported me and made me number one in our province. I will never forget that)," Lacson said during his speech.

The senator also emphasized how his efforts to scrutinize the national budget has saved around P300 billion over 17 years.

Cavite has over 2 million voters in 2019, making it the top two vote-rich province in the country as per data from the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
