In terms of promoting “Catholic values and beliefs”, Vice President and presidential aspirant Leni Robredo garnered a high score in a recent survey conducted by Radyo Veritas.

Vice President Leni Robredo (OVP)

The Veritas Truth Survey (VTS) asked 2,400 respondents about their perception of who among the presidential aspirants follow Catholic values and beliefs.

In the nationwide VTS, Robredo got the highest score of 37 percent. She is followed by former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., who got 27-percent.

They are followed by Senator Panfilo Lacson who received a 19 percent score, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno with nine percent and one percent for Senators Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa, Bong Go and Manny Pacquiao.

Radyo Veritas said that the remaining four percent of respondents were undecided.

Fr. Anton CT. Pascual, president of Radio Veritas 846, clarified that the results of the VTS serve as the basis of the “servant leadership persona” of each presidential aspirant who intends to run in May 2022 elections and lead the country.

VTS Head Bro. Clifford Sorita said that the VTS is not a “voting preference survey” but an insight on how the Catholic faithful can connect their values and beliefs with the persona of the one they will vote for.
