Wanted man, pal nabbed in Pasig drug bust


A man wanted for various criminal cases and his companion were arrested in a police buy-bust operation in Barangay Bambang, Pasig City at about 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4.

Police Col. Roman Arugay, Pasig City Chief of Police, identified the suspects as Jan Jan Sese Tulagan, 30, and Dominick Encisa Cataran, 23.

The warrant section of Pasig City Police confirmed that Tulagan has been the subject of arrest warrants issued by the Pasig Regional Trial Court for murder, three cases of homicide, theft, and illegal possession of firearm.

The duo were nabbed during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Pasig Police’s Drug Enforcement Unit.

The operatives confiscated from the suspects 50 grams of suspected shabu with a street value of P340,000.

The suspects, considered as high-value drug personalities, are now detained at the Pasig City Police Station and will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), according to the police.
