Minors troop to vaccination sites in Bataan

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Minors aged 12 to 17 years old without comorbidities on Wednesday trooped to two inoculation centers here for their first vaccine dose against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

They stood in long lines at the Lou-is Resort while the others waited for their turn seated at the spacious Bataan People’s Center.

Parents added to the long queues since they are required to accompany the minors and were also asked to present identification documents as proof of their relationship.

The children were given Pfizer or Moderna, the vaccines allowed for their age group.

As early as 11 a.m., more than 400 minors were listed at the Lou-is Resort inoculation site where vaccinators said they can administer more than 1,000 vaccine doses a day.
