The QMC will be open from Nov.2 to 5, 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., for exercise purposes only.

"Under Alert Level 3, children are allowed to go out to exercise. That is why families can come to our park, because it is good for their physical and mental health. But we also have to keep in mind that we should also prioritize the safety of our park goers. We are putting in place these additional protocols so families could safely enjoy their time in our park," Mayor Joy Belmonte said.

Belmonte has instructed several city departments to identify zones in QMC where visitor can go to while maintaining health and safety protocols.

The identified zones will each have 80 percent capacity limit. These zones are already fenced-off with assigned safety officers manning the entrance and exit points.

According to the local government, children below four feet can be accompanied by only one guardian in zones with playgrounds. They will be allowed inside the zone for at least one hour to give time to other children.

This will also be appy to those who will use exercise equipments in the Fitness Trail.

There are food stalls, washing and sanitation areas in different locations in QMC.

Currently, there are seven identified zones by the city departments -- the Picnic Area and Playground (Zone 1), Fitness Trail and Planas Garden (Zone 2), QCX Open Grounds (Zone 3), Peace Bell, Runner Garden, and Fern Garden (Zone 4), Tropical Garden (Zone 5), Flower Garden (Zone 6), and Rock Garden (Zone 7).

A mobile patrol from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) will also roam around the park to monitor security and compliance with the health standards.

Adults are required to present their "Kyusi Pass QR codes" or register for contact tracing upon entering the park.
