The Department of Health (DOH) on Monday, Nov. 1, recorded 3,117 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases across the country.

Based on its latest cases bulletin, the new cases pushed the nationwide running tally to 2,790,375, of which, 1.5 percent or 43,185 are active cases or those who are still ill.
Of the active cases -- 72.6 percent are experiencing mild symptoms, 12.32 percent are in moderate condition, 7.2 percent are severe symptoms, 4.9 percent are asymptomatic, and three percent are in critical condition.
The death toll climbed to 43,276 after 104 more deaths were logged.
Meanwhile, the recovery count rose to 2,703,914, with 5,124 new survivors.
DOH said 18 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 13 are recoveries. While 68 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation.
All labs were operational on October 30, while eight labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System.
