2,766 public school students in Pasay City receive financial assistance

The Pasay City government distributed the financial assistance of P3,000 each to about 2,766 public elementary and highschool students of Padre Zamora Elementary School (PZES) on Thursday, Oct.28.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the P3,000 financial assistance of the students from PZES covers the period of January to March for school year 2020 -2021.

Rubiano said the assistance was received by the parents of the learner-beneficiaries.

She said the program was started during the term of her brother, former Mayor and now Congressman Antonino Calixto, as a means to provide financial relief to parents and also for students to avail of the necessary school materials and supplies needed for their studies.

Rubiano said the city has been giving monthly allowances to students coming from 29 public schools in the city.
