Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized P3.4 million worth of shabu following the arrest of a drug pusher on Wednesday, Oct. 27, in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The anti-narcotics agents collared Emil Mariano at 12:37 p.m. in Margarita Village, Barangay 2 and seized 500 grams of shabu from him.
In a statement, PDEA said that the raiding teams also confiscated a motor vehicle, black sling bag, buy-bust money among others during the operation.
Mariano faces charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002’’.
The operation was carried out by the PDEA Regional Office 6 and the PDEA Special Enforcement Team (SET). (Chito A. Chavez)
