Binangonan, Rizal logs 174 active cases of COVID-19



The local government of Binangonan, Rizal has recorded 174 active cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) as of October 27.

The office of Mayor Cesar Ynares, on its official Facebook page, said a total of 7,386 residents contracted COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic

There have been 6,969 recoveries out of the total 7,386 cases as of October 27, 2021.

As of October 25, the municipal government has deployed a total of 105,740 vaccines. Out of the number, 63,350 were given to residents as first dose while 42,390 were used for the second dose.

The town has a population of 313,631, based on the 2020 census.

For October 28, Thursday, 400 slots are open at the Ynares Auditorium for walk-in residents who would like to be vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine.

There will be 300 and 600 more slots available for the same brand of vaccine on Friday and Saturday respectively exclusively for Binangonan residents.
