Faithful invited to Word Conference

The Biblical Apostolate of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines is inviting the faithful to join the virtual Word Conference of the Claretian missionary this November.

WordCon 2021

In a letter, Fr. Arlo Bernardo Yap, SVD, executive secretary of the CBCP-ECBA, stressed the importance of the Word of God in the life of every Christian.

“Truly the Word of God is a strong foundation for our life. I join the Claretians in inviting you and encouraging you to join in the WordCon 2021,” said Fr. Yap.

The CBCP-ECBA supports the Biblical Apostolate of the Claretians Missionaries through the Claretian Communications Foundations, Inc. The CBCP cited their efforts in helping propagate the Word of God and in helping strengthen the spiritual life of the faithful. The Claretian Missionaries are celebrating their 75th anniversary this year.

The virtual WordCom 2021 will be held on Nov. 29 and 30 via zoom and may be viewed live through the Word Conference Facebook page, Radyo Veritas Ph and the CBCP Episcopal Commission on Biblical Apostolate.

The theme for the conference is "Gifted to Give: A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the Great" in line with observance of the 500 Years of Christianity.
