Iris Tolenada joins F2 Logistics Cargo Movers

The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers have acquired setter Iris Tolenada to beef up their roster to future Premier Volleyball League stints.

The team announced the development Tuesday, welcoming Tolenada to the fold.

“Welcome to the team called family, @iristolenada,” the Twitter post read, accompanied by a photo of the 30-year-old player.

Tolenada played for Team Choco Mucho in the recent Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship in Thailand.

She also suited up for Pocari Sweat where she won the Best Setter award in 2016 in the V-League.

With this, Tolenada joins an already lean squad composed of setter Kim Fajardo, libero Dawn Macandili, middle blockers Majoy Baron and Kim Dy, outside hitters Kalei Mau, Ara Galang and Des Cheng, and middle blockers Majoy Baron and Aby Maraño.

The team turned professional last year and joined the PVL, but took a leave of absence in the league’s Open Conference a few months ago.
