Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio quickly dashed any speculation that her meeting with presidential aspirant and former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos was an indication that she already changed her mind, and that she was getting ready to join the presidential derby.

The controversial ed-tech site Nas Academy has reportedly apologized and reconciled with the group of Apo Whang Od, the country’s oldest tattoo master, according to the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP).

Meanwhile, a fisherfolk group disclosed that the recent spate of oil price hikes has severely affected the income of fishermen, whose per-trip revenues have considerably gone down due to the rising prices of fuel.
