It was the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) through Agent Sixto Esperin which turned over the Israeli identified as Yaacov Amsalem to the Australian Federal Police.

Amsalem is reportedly facing a drug case in Australia and went to the Philippines to hide. He was arrested eight years ago and has been in detention since then.

The Australian government filed an extradition against Amsalem before the Philippine government which led to the turnover on Saturday, Oct. 23.
