3 drug pushers arrested in P3.4-M Cavite drug bust


The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested three alleged drug pushers who yielded P3.4-M worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) in a buy-bust operation in Bacoor, Cavite on Thursday, Oct. 21.

PDEA National Capital Region (NCR) Director Christian Frivaldo identified the suspects as Marvin Espiritu Dominguez, 30; John Paul Reyes, 26; and Christine Bautista Alvaran, 25.

The suspects were collared in a buy-bust operation held in a subdivision area in Barangay Panapaan 1 around 3:10 p.m.

Frivaldo said the operatives confiscated from the suspects 500 grams of crystal meth, a Toyota Avanza, one mobile phone, identification cards (ID), and the buy-bust money used in the transaction.

The seized pieces of evidence were brought to the PDEA Laboratory Service for qualitative and quantitative analysis while the arrested suspects were temporarily detained at the PDEA jail facility.

Dominguez, Reyes, and Avaran face charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The operation was jointly conducted by the operatives of the PDEA-NCR Northern District Office (NDO) in coordination with the PDEA Cavite Provincial Office and Bacoor City Police Station (CPS).
