Bacoor City announces temporary cemetery closure, prohibits trick-or-treat

BACOOR CITY, Cavite â€“ The local government unit (LGU) announced the temporary closure of public and private memorial parks, cemeteries, and columbaries from Oct. 29 to Nov. 3.

According to Executive Order No. 41, the temporary closure aims to curb the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The LGU is also prohibiting trick-or-treats and other Halloween-related events not only in public places but also within subdivisions, apartments, and condominiums.

The city has 693 active COVID-19 cases as of Oct. 18.
