QC Public Library reopens to public on Oct. 18

The Quezon City Public Library(QCPL) will reopen for onsite library users on Oct.18, the local government announced on Saturday, Oct. 16.

This is after Malacañang approved Metro Manila to be placed under Alert Level 3, on Oct. 14.

QCPL will accommodate 30 persons per day, following the guidelines of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).

Clients are required to fill up an online reservation form posted on the library's official Facebook page.

According to the QCPL, they will approve reservations only from Mondays to Fridays while weekend appointment requests will be approved the next working day.

The QCPL said they will accept clients who are fully vaccinated, presenting their vaccination cards as proof.

Walk-in clients will not be accepted.

In March 2020, QCPL temporarily closed due to the enhanced community quarantine restrictions in Metro Manila.
