Thirdy Ravena failed to score in double figures for the first time in Japan’s B.League season as the San-En Neophoenix fell 76-67 on the road to the Hiroshima Dragonflies at the Hiroshima Sun Plaza.

Ravena was held to just seven points on 3-of-12 shooting during the contest that saw the Neophoenix play catch-up almost the whole and eventually fall to 2-3 in the 2021-22 B.League campaign.

He added three rebounds and one assist in 31 minutes.

The former Ateneo star entered the match averaging 15.3 points on a 37-percent shooting.

Hiroshima improved to 4-1 and will host the last of the two-game set with San-En on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. local time (12:05 p.m. Philippine time).

Ravena and company will try to continue the trend of winning the last of the two-game set, much like in the first two weeks of the season against the Shiga Lakestars and Niigata Albirex.

San-En scored the game’s first four points but Hiroshima made a quick response to take control of the match.

The Neophoenix were behind 36-33 at the half but the Dragonflies never relinquished their lead behind imports Gregory Echenique and Thomas Kennedy who scored 17 and 15 points.

Imports Elias Harris and Justin Knox were the only San-En players in double figures with 23 and 15 points.
