The inoculation of minors aged 12 to 17 years old went on a promising start as more than 1,000 children with comorbidities were vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday, October 15, 2021, when the vaccine rollout for kids began.

And with this development, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) expressed hopes that more face-to-face classes could be opened soon in colleges and universities.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has declared that the “habagat” or southwest monsoon is over, and the cooler so-called Christmas weather “amihan” or northeast monsoon will soon be felt.
