A man died while another was injured in a fire that hit Baseco Compound in Tondo, Manila on Wednesday night, Oct. 13.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire started at 6:44 p.m.
It reached the second alarm at 6:59 p.m.
The fire was declared under control at 8:10 p.m. and was put out at 9:31 p.m.
The BFP said the fire started on the ground floor of a two-storey building.
At least 150 families were affected by the fire, it added.
Authorities said damage caused by the fire was pegged at P700,000.
Investigation is ongoing.
