DOST Innovation Council’s longest serving employee is now its new deputy executive director


The Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCIEERD) warmly welcomed Niñaliza Escorial as its new Deputy Executive Director.

The DOST-PCIEERD said Escorial, a registered chemical engineer, is one of its longest serving employees.

"Congratulations! DOST-PCIEERD's new Deputy Executive Director is Engr. Niñaliza Escorial!,” read Council’s post on Facebook on Tuesday, Oct. 12.

Prior to her appointment, Escorial has been heading the Industrial Technology Development Division (ITDD) of the Council since 2003.

“She was involved in the conceptualization of DOST Philippines high impact projects like One Lab, Food Innovation Center, Smart Food Value Chain, and researchers on packaging and metrology”

She earned a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering at the De La Salle University (DLSU) and got a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Santo Tomas (UST).
