The Commission on Elections (Comelec) will be resuming voter registration activities nationwide starting Monday, Oct. 11 until Oct. 30.

Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez urged the public to get registered for them to be able to participate in the May 2022 national and local elections.

“After the filing of COCs, #VoterReg na naman uli. #MagparehistroKa na!,” posted Jimenez on his official Twitter account.

Based on Comelec Resolution No. 10720, "the voter's registration days shall be only from Monday to Friday, except on Oct. 30, 2021 (Saturday)."

The voter's registration hours, meanwhile, shall be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Voter registration activities will be conducted in all Office of the Election Officers (OEOs) or mall registration sites.

"There shall be no satellite voter's registration in the barangays," the Comelec said.

The voter registration period was supposed to end last Sept. 30. However, the Comelec en banc decided to extend the period of voter registration from Oct. 11 to 30.
