Not all PL filers accredited, says Comelec


While nearly 200 partylist groups may have already filed their certificates of nomination and acceptance (CONA), the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said not all have been accredited for the May 2022 polls.

"Not all those who filed their CON-CAN are accredited. There are those not yet accredited. They are still waiting for the decision of the Commission on their petitions for accreditation," Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez said Friday, Oct. 8 at the sidelines of the filing of the certificates of candidacy (COCs) at Sofitel Tent in Pasay City.

He said so far, 194 partylist groups have filed their CONAs since Oct. 1.

These are some of the party-lists that have filed their CONAs on Oct. 7: AMP21, AKO BICOL, AKONA, OFW FAMILY, PAMILYA MUNA, NCSD, ALSA BISAYA, AWAT MINDANAO, DUTERTE KGBAN, MALABUNG, CLICK, ACTS OFW, PAMILYANG MAGSASAKA, MANILA TEACHERS MEDICAL CANN, MAGSASAKA, SEÑIOR CITIZEN, ANAKALUSUGAN, IPEACE, APAT DAPAT, ONLINE, 1-AMPA, AIA, ATM-PL, DAMAYAN, LABAN NG INDIGINOG FILIPINO, GRECON, AGIMAT, SAFETY FIRST, AKAP PINOY, ONE COOP, API, FLAG-MAHARLIKA, ANAK, APC, BUTIL, SAMAHANG NAYON, BAHAY KUBO, TUTOK TO WIN, PASA HERO, BABAE AKO and 1 TAHANAN.

The filing of certificates of candidacy (COCs) and CONA will run from Oct. 1 to 8.
