Las Pinas launches 'Bakunahan sa Kabataan'


The Las Pinas City government launched the “Bakunahan sa Kabataan” vaccination program for children aged 12 to 17 years old on Friday (October 8).

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the pre-registration for “Bakunahan sa Kabataan” will be online through https://bit.ly/e-covid19reg or barangay assisted.

Aguilar encouraged those who are 12 to 17 years old to register at the city government’s vaccination program for their protection against COVID-19.

She also encouraged parents and guardian to guide their children in the pre-registration for the “Bakunahan sa Kabataan” vaccination program of the city government.

Aguilar said the city government is already conducting the profiling while awaiting for the guidelines on the vaccination of minors 12-17 years old.

The mayor wants all the youth in the city to get vaccinated since the city is nearing herd immunity with only 14 percent left of the total 447,086 that are unvaccinated for individuals under the categories A1 to A5.

Aguilar said she also wants the youth be part of the "Ligtas na Las Pineros, Lahat Bakunado” vaccination program of the city government.
