Karla Estrada files COC as Tingog's third nominee


TACLOBAN CITY - Singer/host Karla Estrada is one of the many show business personalities trying their luck in politics next year.

She filed her certificate of candidacy (CoC) as Tingog Party List's third nominee on Friday (October 8).

"Hindi ito naging madaling desisyon para sa akin at para sa aking pamilya. Pero dahil nandyan kayo at ang buong Tingog Party List, panatag po ako na kakayanin ko," Estrada said.

She is a native of Tacloban City and the mother of actor Daniel Padilla of the famous loveteam Kathniel.

She had earlier hinted about her new career plan when she posted her photo opening a door and saying "May bago akong tahanan."

Karla endorsed Tingog in 2019 which won one seat in the House of Representatives.

Tingog's first nominee is Rep. Yedda Romualdez, the wife of Leyte 1st. Dist. Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez and JCI national president Jude Acidre as the second nominee.
