Here’s the story behind what she’s wearing
Filipino style influencer Camille Co-Koro is in Milan, Italy, and is serving local style. During her trip, she demonstrates a new take on the denim-on-denim look and all we can say is bellissima!
Camille’s quirky denim ensemble is crafted by local contemporary clothing label, ḢA.MÜ. She is wearing the brand’s Bubble Denim Jacket and Ring of Trees Denim Jeans, pieces from its spring-summer 2022 collection “Flowers of Youth.”
Much like in its 2020 accessories collection, childish play and games come in ḢA.MÜ’s design process for the collection. The denim jacket’s creation is described as “puzzle pieces that we would study and play with as kids,” with circles of fabric strategically placed and draped with raw seams adding to its charm. According to the brand, the jacket took 10 hours to finish. The bottom piece, on the other hand, is gender-neutral and pays homage to patchwork jeans and doodle line art.
“When Camille messaged us to inquiry about the collection we released in Tokyo, she was very enthusiastic and excited to view our entire line up,” ḢA.MÜ said. “Throughout the entire time she was nothing but supportive as she expressed how much she appreciated our style whilst following us here silently. This means a lot for us as a young brand! Thank you so much!”
