The Philippines’ targeted population for inoculation against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) of 80 to 9o percent of 110 million could be jabbed before the May 2022 elections, according to the National Task Force (NTF) on COVID-19.

Pilot face-to-face classes will start in 59 schools on November 15, 2021.

On the political front, Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos were added to the list of presidential aspirants for the 2022 national polls, even as a bevy of senatorial bets – re-electionists, returning, newbies and previously failed aspirants – have also filed their respective of certificates of candidacy.
