Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan has filed his Certificate of Candidacy for 1st District of Caloocan City Representative while his son, Representative Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan filed his for mayor of the city at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Wednesday, Oct. 6.
Malapitan filed his COC along with the other members of Team Aksyon at Malasakit.
Councilor Karina Teh is Malapitan's running mate.
Mayor Oca has been serving as the city's local chief executive from 2013 up to the present.
Along is finishing his second term as lawmaker at the House of Representatives.
