The Living Laudato Si’ Philippines is inviting the faithful to join the 40-day prayer campaign to save the environment.

"We encourage the faithful to join us in our daily prayer campaign to save our common home,” said LLS Philippines executive director Rodne Galicha over Radio Veritas.
The 40-day prayer campaign aims to show support to the seven sectors of the Laudato Si’ Action Platform (LSAP) that include the family, parishes and dioceses, schools, , healthcare communities, the economy, various organizations, and the religious orders as stewards of God’s creation as well as to fulfill the seven Laudato Si’ goals:
- Response to the cry of the earth
– Response to the cry of the poor;
– Ecological economics;
– Adoption of simple lifestyles;
– Ecological education;
– Ecological spirituality; and
– Community engagement and participatory action
“From our families, parishes and dioceses, schools, healthcare community, economic sector, organizations and groups, and religious orders and missions, as stewards we shall act together to achieve the goals of Laudato Si’. Let us thank God for the gift of creation we ought to care, restore and regenerate,” Galicha stressed.
The Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development in partnership with LLS Philippines will lead the prayer campaign.
